People to People Project's second school was started by contract on July 23, 2009, and opened on November 2, 2009, at Ban Thuam. Pictured is People to People project manager, Xong Lee (fourth from right), presenting the school's keys to the village president and other community leaders.

The Opening Ceremony was attended by a large number of citizens, whose children will attend this school. The school serves five villages.

The People to People Project's schools are the first to have electricity, inside and outside. They are equipped with fans, which enable students to attend school all day, regardless of weather conditions that previously would have shortened or eliminated their learning day in the old school. The schools are also used in the evenings for adult education or technical training.
